What is 'Art in the Making'?
Art in the Making is an open discussion forum on art and art practice which seeks to disestablish the rigid formality of traditional lecture and discussion group format. The aim of the group is non specific, with the emphasis being more on the process of discussion, creativity and fun.
The sessions will run through to the end of the next semester, meeting for half an hour, each Tuesday at 12.30.
The focus of the meeting may be a visiting artist, a work of art, a topic of interest, the previous meeting etc. but ultimately the session is entirely in the hands of those who participate! The sessions will be recorded as an ongoing documentation process which will culminate in an exhibition in the Summer.
